Azure OpenAI (Document Processing)
For AI-powered document extraction, recovery of missing source evidence, and transaction categorization, we use Microsoft Azure OpenAI. You can control these three purposes separately in your settings. For text files and extracted text, only relevant source rows are transmitted and unnecessary account and IBAN details are masked. For image files, the complete image is transmitted. Transmitted content may include the following personal data:
- Names of account holders and business partners
- IBANs and account numbers
- Transaction amounts and dates
- Payment references and transaction descriptions
The Azure resource is provisioned in Sweden Central. The actual processing location depends on the Azure deployment type and may be limited to the region, the EU data zone, or, for global deployments, extend to other Azure regions. Under its Azure terms, Microsoft does not use inputs or outputs to train the base models. The models are stateless, but Microsoft may automatically screen content for abuse and temporarily store selected flagged content for human review unless modified abuse monitoring has been approved for the account. Data is transmitted over encrypted HTTPS.

Stripe (Payment Processing)
We use Stripe for payment processing. When making a payment, your payment data is transmitted directly to Stripe. We do not store complete credit card data.

Microsoft Advertising (UET)
With your consent, we use Microsoft Advertising Universal Event Tracking (UET) to attribute visits and selected events such as registration, checkout start, and successful subscriptions to our Microsoft Ads campaigns. Without marketing consent, the service runs in consent mode with the setting "denied".

5. Data Processing for Our Service
Uploaded Documents
When you upload documents (bank statements), they are processed on our servers. The following data is processed:
- Transaction data (date, amount, purpose)
- Account numbers and IBANs
- Names of business partners
This data is processed to provide our service (DATEV conversion). The legal basis is contract fulfillment (Art. 6 para. 1 lit. b GDPR).
Storage Duration
Uploaded documents and conversions are automatically deleted 90 days after processing by default. You can manually delete your data at any time in your account settings.
After deleting your account, all personal data is immediately and irrevocably deleted.
Automated Decision-Making
We use Azure OpenAI for the independently controlled processing purposes described in Section 4. The actual processing location depends on the Azure deployment type. This processing is based on Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR (contract performance). You can disable each AI purpose in settings and manually correct categorization suggestions in the review view.
6. Your Rights
You have the following rights regarding your personal data:
- Right of Access (Art. 15 GDPR): You can request information about your stored data at any time.
- Rectification (Art. 16 GDPR): You can request the correction of inaccurate data.
- Erasure (Art. 17 GDPR): You can request the deletion of your data, unless legal retention obligations apply.
- Restriction (Art. 18 GDPR): You can request the restriction of processing.
- Data Portability (Art. 20 GDPR): You can receive your data in a common format.
- Objection (Art. 21 GDPR): You can object to the processing of your data.
- Withdrawal of Consent (Art. 7 para. 3 GDPR): You can withdraw your consent at any time.

7. Data Security
