Azure OpenAI (Document Processing)

For AI-powered recognition and categorization of transactions from your uploaded bank statements, we use Azure OpenAI by Microsoft. The extracted text from your bank statements is transmitted to the Azure OpenAI service. This may include personal data, in particular:

  • Names of account holders and business partners
  • IBANs and account numbers
  • Transaction amounts and dates
  • Payment references and transaction descriptions

Processing takes place on Microsoft's Azure servers in Sweden (EU). According to Microsoft's data protection terms for Azure OpenAI, your data is not used to train AI models and is not stored by Microsoft. Data transmission is encrypted via HTTPS.

Stripe (Payment Processing)

We use Stripe for payment processing. When making a payment, your payment data is transmitted directly to Stripe. We do not store complete credit card data.

5. Data Processing for Our Service

Uploaded Documents

When you upload documents (bank statements), they are processed on our servers. The following data is processed:

  • Transaction data (date, amount, purpose)
  • Account numbers and IBANs
  • Names of business partners

This data is processed to provide our service (DATEV conversion). The legal basis is contract fulfillment (Art. 6 para. 1 lit. b GDPR).

Storage Duration

Uploaded documents and conversions are automatically deleted 90 days after processing by default. You can manually delete your data at any time in your account settings.

After deleting your account, all personal data is immediately and irrevocably deleted.

Automated Decision-Making

We use AI services (Azure OpenAI, data center Sweden/EU) for automatic recognition and categorization of your transactions. This involves processing the text content of your bank statements as described in Section 4. This processing is based on Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR (contract performance). You can manually correct AI categorizations at any time in the review view.

You have the following rights regarding your personal data:

  • Right of Access (Art. 15 GDPR): You can request information about your stored data at any time.
  • Rectification (Art. 16 GDPR): You can request the correction of inaccurate data.
  • Erasure (Art. 17 GDPR): You can request the deletion of your data, unless legal retention obligations apply.
  • Restriction (Art. 18 GDPR): You can request the restriction of processing.
  • Data Portability (Art. 20 GDPR): You can receive your data in a common format.
  • Objection (Art. 21 GDPR): You can object to the processing of your data.
  • Withdrawal of Consent (Art. 7 para. 3 GDPR): You can withdraw your consent at any time.
